The founder of The Good Pilates studio, Mariola embarked on her Pilates journey 15 years ago. Her academic background in Contemporary Dance from the University of Miguel Hernandez in Spain set the foundation for her love of movement. During her university studies, she became immersed in various techniques from Osteopathy, Thai Massage, Yoga, and Ki-Aikido, with a focus on anatomy and kinesiology. She holds a Massage Therapy Certificate from Quiros School and is deeply passionate about teaching movement and understanding the body. Her extensive knowledge of anatomy and biology, acquired through years of study, ensures that you are in expert hands at our studio.
She believes that a healthy, flexible and powerful body is essential to our daily lives. This is important while teaching a variety of styles, from challenging fitness classes to precise cues, to understanding the connection with our wisdom body.

I was first introduced to Pilates through my background in dance. Movement has always been a central aspect of my life, and discovering Pilates helped me in gaining a deeper understanding of body’s mechanics and connecting with my body in a new way. I enjoy the nuance, specificity and also the physical challenge that Pilates practice has, which carries great benefits both for the body and the mind. My interest and curiosity led me to learning more, becoming an instructor and developing a daily practice. I enjoy teaching both challenging classes that focus on mobility, strength and coordination as well as the basic exercises that build a strong foundation. I like to create a good flow, and support everyone on their journey to feel healthier, stronger and more connected with their bodies.
